Star Drive Research and Development
The Department
Formally created in early 2385, “Star Drive” as it is being heralded was a conglomeration of Starfleet R&D, Starfleet Engineering, and the Daystrom Institute to come together and form a powerhouse of knowledge and innovation. This think tank was tasked with the important duty of investing serious time, effort, and resources to ensure the technological future and superiority of the United Federation of Planets.
After months of bureaucratic posturing, diplomatic agreements, and months of planning the Star Drive Department of Research and Development was finally unveiled. Under the motto “Concordia Res Parvae Crescent - Work together to accomplish more” the Department began operations.
Housed in the heart of Alpha Fleet home base, located on Deep Space 15 within the Alsatia System of the Alpha Quadrant, The Department began work on the future of all humanity.
